On Tuesday, Dec. 13, Great Neck residents have the opportunity to elect Patty Katz as Commissioner of the Great Neck Water Pollution Control District, as Deena Lessor retires. For over 40 years, I have known Patty Katz as an achiever, motivator and woman of action. A true lifelong champion for the environment, she has worked tirelessly to keep our drinking water pure, to protect our groundwater and waterways, to eliminate the use of carcinogens in garden maintenance, and was instrumental in bringing recycling programs to the Great Neck school system.
Please cast your vote for Patty Katz as Commissioner of the Great Neck Water Pollution Control District, as one committed to ensure a clean environment, will act and do whatever is necessary to that end. Vote on Tuesday, Dec. 13. Polls are open 1 to 9 p.m. at Great Neck House, 14 Arrandale Ave. and Great Neck Social Center, 80 Grace Ave.
