Rabbi Davidson’s Annual Book Review
Rabbi Jerome K. Davidson, D.D., rabbi emeritus of Temple Beth-El of Great Neck, will review Philip Roth’s book, The Plot Against America at 10 a.m. Written in 2004, the novel is an alarming political tale, set in the early 1940s, that astonishingly resonates with the disturbing contemporary scene. Family Hanukkah Party
Chai Hadassah’s Family Hanukkah Party will be held from 2:30 to 4 p.m. at Temple Beth-El of Great Neck, 5 Old Mill Rd. Jewish Feminist Theologian Speaker
Judith Plaskow, professor emerita of Religious Studies at Manhattan College and a Jewish feminist theologian who has been teaching, writing and speaking about Jewish feminism, feminist studies in religion and sexuality for almost 50 years, will speak on Feminism in 2018: Reform’s Unfinished Agenda at 10:30 a.m. at Temple Beth-El of Great Neck, 5 Old Mill Rd. Kids4peace: Palestinian & Israeli Teens Speak
