North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth, Receiver of Taxes Charles Berman and Councilwoman Anna Kaplan have teamed up with the Ahavat Shalom Synagogue Men’s Committee and the Great Neck Chinese Association to offer Tax Grievance Workshops.
• On Wednesday, Feb. 3, at 7:30 p.m., the workshop will be held at the Ahavat Shalom Synagogue, 130 Cutter Mill Rd. in Great Neck.
• On Tuesday, Feb. 9, the Great Neck Chinese Association workshop will take place from 7 to 8:45 p.m. at Great Neck House, 14 Arrandale Ave. in Great Neck.
Although the town does not set property tax assessments, it can help you lower your taxes. During this seminar, Tax Receiver Berman will explain the Tax Grievance process and how to go about challenging your property’s assessment to save money on your tax bill. This seminar will help you file a grievance on your own using the Correction of Property Tax Assessment application that will be available at the workshop. The filing period is from Jan. 4 to March 1.

Six months ago, after getting fired from my job , I’ve been blessed to find out about this amazing site online that was a lifesaver… They offer online home-based work. My last month check after working with them for three months was 12000 dollars… Amazing thing about it was that only thing required is basic typing and internet access..
