Residents are invited to attend visioning meetings for the redevelopment of North Hempstead Beach Park, where they will view a presentation by the town’s landscape architects and engage in discussions about the recreational elements they would like to see developed on the park’s 90 beachfront acres as well as the 200 wooded acres across the street.
Town of North Hempstead (TONH) Supervisor Judi Bosworth, TONH council members, consultants from Quennell Rothschild & Partners, the TONH Planning Department, Parks Commissioner Jill Weber and other officials will be in attendance.
Residents may attend one or all sessions, which will begin at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 18, at Port Washington Library, 1 Library Dr.; Tuesday, Jan. 24, at Clinton G. Martin Park, 1601 Marcus Ave. in New Hyde Park; and Wednesday, Jan. 25, at the “Yes We Can” Community Center at 141 Garden St. in New Cassel.
