This fire is a tragedy. Please note that in many buildings in GN, especially rentals, tenants store boxes, flammables and other items in garage/their parking spots. Decorations on tenants doors( wreaths, etc)are also a hazard. Unfortunately Nassau County Fire Marshals have been notified by tenants in buildings about these violations but the office refuses to enforce the law or address these violations that can endanger tenants should there be a fire. This matter must be addressed.
