The Special Olympics New York’s Twelfth Annual Town of Hempstead Polar Plunge will take place on Saturday, March 5, at 12 p.m.
Members from the community will be Freezin’ for a Reason to raise money for the Special Olympics New York. Last year more than 600 plungers braved the chilly waters while hundreds more watched on the shore.
Check out the action or join in at North Hempstead Beach Park on West Shore Rd. in Port Washington.
