Stanley J. Crosby, 93, of South Farmingdale, passed away on May 24. Proud WWII Army Veteran. Beloved husband of Joan. Loving father of Judy Calves, Robert, Kathleen Skura, Janith Valentino and James. Cherished grandfather of 19 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. A private interment with military honors was held Thursday, May 28, at Pinelawn Memorial Park. Dominic Joseph Posillico, 88, of Northport passed away on May 9. Former ex-vice president and partner of J.D. Posillico, Inc., Farmingdale. Reunited in heaven with his beloved wife Dorothy. Loving father of Joseph K. Posillico (Patricia), Mary E. Hurst (Christopher), Lisa Posillico-Magro. Cherished grandfather of Jessica Coffey (Josh), Christina Dorothy Grant (Andrew), Christopher D. Hurst (Kerri), Steven Posillico, Joseph E. Posillico, Matthew Hurst, Chelsea Magro and Allyson Koerner (Nicholas). Devoted great grandfather of Matthew Grant, Thomas Grant, Mia Coffey and Ella Grant. Dear brother of Mario A. Posillico and the late Joseph D. Posillico, Jr. (Whitney). Adored nephew of Angela Adamo. Also survived by his companion Rosemary Luisi. Kevin Seely, 67, of East Farmingdale passed away on May 24. Proud Vietnam Navy Veteran with six years of service. Dedicated director of Stony Brook Radiation Oncology for 35 years. Beloved husband of 30 years to Maureen. Loving father of Tammy Mojica and Tracy Marengo (Tommy). Cherished grandfather of Aidan Mojica and Kyle Marengo. Dear brother of Patrick Seely, Kathleen DeMalderis (Joesph), Colleen DeMonico and Erin DePasquale (Chris). Lifelong friends of Dale and Sue Funk and Kevin and Carol Carpenter. GLEN COVE

Giuseppe Gallizzi of Glen Cove, died on June 18, at age 36. Beloved son of Eugenio and Gina. Loving father of Gino. Dear brother of Maria Pavelsky (Michael) and the late Angela. Adored uncle of Owen and Stella. Also survived by his grandmother, aunts, uncles and many cousins. Giuseppe was pursuing his dream to become a nurse. He was an avid Mets fan. Giuseppe was a graduate of Glen Cove High School and was a leading pitcher of the varsity team. Visitation at the Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home, Glen Cove. Funeral Mass at St. Rocco RC Church.  Interment at Locust Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation may be made to: Care of Maria Pavelsky, 7108 McCallum St., Philadelphia, PA  19119 for a trust account to be established for Giuseppe’s son. 

Joseph Loiodice, 95 of Glen Head on June 9. Beloved husband of Hilda for 55 years and the late Lena. Devoted father of JoAnn (Ken), Annette (Tony), Bart (Carol), Patricia (Ken), Peter (Linda), Carol (Anthony) and Cindy. Loving grandfather of 14 and great-grandfather of 18. George Stepanov of Richmond Hill, died on June 18, at age 90. Beloved husband of the late Nadeja. Loving step-father of Stsiapanau. Adored step-grandfather of Elena Yigit. Stepanov was a Korean War Veteran.  Service at Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home, Glen Cove. Interment at Calverton National Cemetery.

Gloria Marina Cullear-Rivas of Glen Cove, died on June 11, at age 59. Beloved mother of Italo Jose Naves and Edwin Alexander “Alex” Cuellar. Dear sister of Eduardo Bernal. Service and interment held privately.

MASSAPEQUA

Josephine Mule, 98 passed away on June 1, in Greenville, SC. She married her beloved husband Phillip Feb. 22, 1943 and started their life in Astoria. Josephine and Phillip moved in 1957 to Massapequa to raise their three sons. After moving to Long Island they both enjoyed careers at Grumman in Bethpage. Survived by her loving children Joseph (Carolyn), Robert (Lisa), and daughter-in-law Janet. Devoted grandmother of Joseph (Alicia), Christopher (Anna), James (Nicole), Jon, Amanda and Matthew (Sarah). Adored great grandmother of Hudson and Charlotte. Dear sister of Kitty Virone. Lifelong friend of Martha Martorana. A private graveside service was held at Pinelawn Memorial Park. Arrangements entrusted to Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc. 

OYSTER BAY

Alan C. Ritter of Oyster Bay, died on June 8. Beloved husband of Ellen. Loving father of Jill Salditt (Richard), Chuck Ritter (Heather) and the late Amy Kowalski. Cherished grandfather of Matthew, Luke, Timothy, Catherine, Charlie, Georgia, Eliza and Alina. Great grandfather of Ophelia. Dear brother of Norma Johnson. Interment private. PORT WASHINGTON

Nancy Ellen (Oberg) Carpenter born on the 4th of July, 1928, Nancy passed away on June 17, a few weeks shy of her 92nd birthday. Born in Flushing, she moved to Port Washington, where she married her husband of 60 years, Charles (Chip) Carpenter, who predeceased her in 2007. They lived in Port for their entire married life, raising four children: Rebecca Byrne (the late Daniel), Nancy Venetos (George), Thomas Carpenter (Barbara) and Amelia Fitzmaurice (Michael); 11 grandchildren: Daniel, Barbara (McGovern), Matthew and James Byrne, Jason Carpenter and Ezra Venetos, Nicole (McCain), Timothy Carpenter, and Conor, Neil and Rebecca Fitzmaurice, nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by grandson Lorca Venetos.

Edward Nelson Madison died on June 6, in Boulder, CO. Born in Bermuda on Oct. 10, 1927, he was a graduate of Cornell University, earned an MBA from LIU and served in the US Army. Ed and Nancy lived in Port from 1955-1993 and he owned Prest-O-Sales and Service in Long Island City. Edward served as a two-term mayor of the Village of Sands Point and was a member of MBYC and SPGC. Edward retired to Boulder in 1993. He is survived by his wife, Nancy, his children Douglas, James, Sherry and Susan, as well as four grandchildren.

SYOSSET

Helen C. Douvas of Syosset, died on June 14, at age 84. Beloved wife of George. Loving mother of Maria (Hence) Orme and Michael (Sue) Brown. Cherished grandmother of Alexandra, Andrew Orme, Gregory Orme, Julia and Jackson. Dear aunt of Diane Juffras and Jason Juffras. Arrangements entrusted to Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home. A private family church service at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Resurrection. Interment is private.
