The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of a Woodside man during an overdose investigation that occurred on Thursday, Sept. 29, at 4:44 p.m. in Great Neck Plaza.
According to Narcotics/Vice Squad detectives, as part of Operation Natalie, Nassau County’s War Against Opioids, detectives were investigating a fatal overdose of a Nassau County resident that led to the arrest of Juan Altagracia, 31.
Narcotics/Vice Squad detectives placed the defendant under arrest without incident.
Defendant Altagracia is charged with numerous counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree and numerous counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree. He will be arraigned on Wednesday, Sep. 30, in Mineola.
