The Great Neck Library is offering a new streaming and downloading service called Hoopla Digital, which gives patrons online and mobile access to thousands of free movies, TV series, music CDs, audiobooks, eBooks, comics and graphic novels.
Great Neck Library cardholders can download the free Hoopla Digital app on their IOS or Android device or visit www.hoopladigital.com to borrow thousands of titles from major studios, record companies and publishers 24/7, for instant streaming or temporary downloading to their computers, tablets and smartphones.
Each cardholder may borrow six items each month. There are no holds or overdue fees and the limit is reset the beginning of each month. Titles are automatically returned and removed from the patron’s device at the end of the lending period, which for movies is three days, music is seven days and audiobooks, eBooks and comics are 21 days. To borrow a title, enter your library card number, without spaces. A pin number is not required. Click on the title’s icon and then click Borrow. The borrowed titles can be found under the My Titles tab for viewing and/or listening. For further information, call Pamela Levin of the Media Department at 516-466-8055, ext. 248.
