I want to thank you for bringing back some old memories with the article “Out of This World.”
Even though I now live in central Florida, I still receive the Great Neck Record.
In the June 12 issue, which recently arrived, the article about Senior Event at Great Neck South High School made me think of my Senior Dinner, as it was called then, in the spring of 1959, which was 60 years ago.
It was also in the gym with underclassmen serving the seniors. Fond memories all, and I appreciate the reminder.
I am glad to see that the tradition continues.
I even recall the song we sang at graduation.
Wow, it seems like yesterday.
