The Manhasset Port Washington chapter of Kiwanis generously provided a gift of $5,000 to YAI—the National Institute for People with Disabilities. Established in 1957, YAI is a network of seven agencies offering children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities a comprehensive range of services. YAI’s mission is to help others achieve the fullest life possible by creating new opportunities for living, loving, working and learning. YAI offers residential programs,

employment training and support, day services, opportunities for recreation and socialization, and a variety of services that support and empower families.

Kiwanis holds an annual golf outing at Cedarbrook Country Club to raise funds for this most deserving agency.

Past Lt. Governor John Lalena and Manhasset-Port Washington Kiwanis President Jeff Stone were on hand to present YAI with a donation from the Kiwanis Club.
