Kennedy School teachers Patrick Kennedy and Alyssa Gulino, Assistant Principal Michelle Bell, teacher Nicole Zupa, and Principal Ron Gimondo prepare donated food and holiday items for delivery to local families in need.

Staff at the John F. Kennedy School continued their long-standing commitment to helping local families in need during the holiday season. This year, staff members “adopted” 42 families within the Kennedy School community — nearly double the number of families that staff supported last year.

Every family received holiday gifts such as toys and clothing, as well as food and supermarket gift cards. The Kennedy School is grateful for the assistance of community organizations that also contributed to this cause. The Rotary Club of Great Neck provided the grocery gift cards, and Temple Beth-El of Great Neck donated food and frozen chickens for every family to enjoy as part of their special holiday meal.
