The “Center,” originally constructed in 1929 as the Manhasset Valley School, has operated as a community center since the 1960s in providing a variety of services for economically disadvantaged families and children for approximately 50 years. In addition to government funding and support from the local community funds and civic organizations, the Manhasset/Great Neck EOC is fortunate to have the ongoing support of community residents who understand the agency’s mission to promote self-sufficiency, self-development and self-esteem through educational, recreational, cultural enrichment and support programs for children and adults.
