Author and New York Times columnist Ron Lieber will present The Price We Pay for College, an online program for the Great Neck Library, with special guest Chris Erickson, Great Neck South High Guidance Counselor.

Join author Ron Lieber and special guest Chris Erickson for an online program, The Price We Pay for College, on Wednesday, March 10 at 7:00 p.m.

On the heels of the publication of his new book about what to pay for college, Ron Lieber, author and columnist will talk about who pays what and why, explain how the system got so complicated, pull the curtain back on the semi-secret merit aid discounts that even affluent families get, and help you figure out when, if ever, a private college or university is $200,000 better than a SUNY college or university. He’ll also leave time to answer all your questions.

Ron will be joined by Chris Erickson who will share his expertise as a Guidance Counselor at Great Neck South High School.

Ron Lieber has been the Your Money columnist for The New York Times since 2008. He is the author of two New York Times bestsellers, including The Opposite of Spoiled: Raising Kids Who Are Grounded, Generous, and Smart About Money.
