The Great Neck Library begins its partial reopening to the community as of Monday, July 20. Services will be available to patrons on Mondays to Fridays from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Main Library, 159 Bayview Avenue, and the Parkville Branch, 10 Campbell Street, New Hyde Park.
The following services will be available by appointment only: Reader’s Advisory with a Reference or Children’s Librarian; Use of copiers or scanner; Circulation questions; Media Librarian for assistance with OverDrive/Libby, Hoopla, RBDigital, and Kanopy. These appointments are 15 minutes in length. Appointments for Computer use, with a STEM Librarian or a Levels member, will be 30 minutes in length.

Please note: The following will not be made available: Browsing, seating, study areas, tutoring spaces, or meeting rooms; newspapers or magazines; toys, puzzles, computers, iPad, tutors in the Children’s Room.
Patrons will not be permitted in the buildings without a mask. For the safety of all, please follow all guidelines and procedures.
Curbside pickup for items is still available Mondays to Fridays from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Returned items must be left in the book drops. Please do not bring them into the buildings.
