The Library Election for Board of Trustees and Nominating Committee members to be held on Monday, Oct. 29, has been contested.
Current Board President Robert M. Schaufeld has filed a petition as an Independent candidate for the remainder of Francine Ferrante Krupski’s term on the Board of Trustees that runs from January 2019 to 2020. The Nominating Committee Endorsed Candidate for this seat is Scott J. Sontag. Trustee Chelsea Sassouni has filed a petition as an Independent candidate for the four-year Board of Trustees’ expiring seat currently held by Joel Marcus, which will run from January 2019 to 2023. The Nominating Committee Endorsed Candidate for the seat is David Zielenziger.
