As I’ve been a resident of Great Neck Village for many years, I would like to share the positive experiences that I’ve encountered since the election of Pedram Bral. Shortly after his election, I observed what I thought was a potentially dangerous situation in an unoccupied home on the block. I contacted Village Hall and spoke with the assistant clerk. She relayed my concerns to the mayor and within the day, the situation was taken care of and a potential threat averted. I was very impressed with the fast response time, the way they evaluated the situation and rapidly moved to act in the best interests of the community.
Additionally, I’ve attended more than one of the Meet the Mayor gatherings, which I found to be both informative and welcoming. Each time, there was a very diverse group of people present and he communicated with all in a respectful, genuine and comfortable fashion. We are fortunate to have such intelligent and talented professionals giving back to the community. I endorse and support the reelection of Mayor Bral and the trustees on his ticket. Hopefully, the community will come out and show their support on election day.
