During the February school break, a Vacation Recreation Day for children will be hosted by Supervisor Judi Bosworth and the North Hempstead Town Board in conjunction with the Department of Parks and Recreation on Tuesday, Feb. 16, beginning at 1 p.m.

Participants can enjoy a magic show with Scott Interrante, bingo, a showing of the movie Inside Out and swimming at the indoor pool.

“There’s no need to venture far for an enjoyable time. Vacation Recreation Day is a great way for children to have fun right here in the Town of North Hempstead,” said Bosworth. “Enjoy a staycation at Tully Park with a magic show, movie, bingo and swimming, all within a short drive from home.”
