The residents at Atria Cutter Mill have been collecting nonperishable food for the American Legion and AARP to help feed veterans.
Jack Knott from AARP came along with Eric Spinner, the chaplain of the American Legion, and posed for a quick photo with the residents, including some veterans and USO workers. They have collected 190 pounds of food so far and are still counting. Atria Cutter Mill plans to turn this into an annual food drive for veterans every November.
