Great Neck Park District Commissioners and Nassau County Legislator Ellen W. Birnbaum worked with the NICE bus service to add a seasonal stop to the Nassau Inter-County Express N-58 route at the west corner of Steppingstone Lane and Sunset Road for those who would like to visit Steppingstone Park this summer to enjoy a picnic, weekend concert, dinner cruise from the marina or stroll to marvel at the Long Island Sound views. Children can swim in the kiddie pool, cool off under the water pad sprinklers and enjoy the playground. Guests must show a park card at the gate or be a guest of a resident with a valid park card. The bus will run through Labor Day on Monday, Sept. 5.
