Great Neck North High School was visited by Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth, who presented two graduating students, Yael Lissak and Michelle C. Nissan, with awards.

Lissak received the town’s Environmental Stewardship Award, and was honored for dedicating so much of her time to helping out the community. Her desire to assist others has fueled her participation in activities such as the school’s Help the Homeless Club and the Peer Leadership Club.

Bosworth presented the Town of North Hempstead Leadership Award to Nissan on behalf of Town Clerk Wayne Wink.

This is the third consecutive year that the town presented Environmental Stewardship Awards to local students.
