HanukkahAThanksgiving has passed and the winter holidays are just around the corner! Get into the spirit by attending Hanukkah celebrations throughout the neighborhood. Great Neck has so much in store for you this season, including puppet shows, menorah lighting ceremonies, potluck dinners and much more.

 

Sunday, Dec. 6

Chabad of Great Neck will be having its annual Hanukkah on Ice at 7:30 p.m. Attractions include a human-size dreidel, arts and crafts for the kids, a menorah lighting and open skating for all. Monday, Dec. 7

At the LIRR station in Great Neck at 6 p.m., Chabad of Great Neck will be conducting a Grand Hanukkah Public Menorah Lighting and special dignitaries will be lighting the menorah. Great Neck Synagogue will be presenting a Hanukkah Show with pizza at 6 p.m. and showtime at 6:30 p.m. Under the direction of the highly acclaimed ventriloquist Jonathan Geffner, the madcap meshugeneh puppets will perform their renowned show, Maccabee Mishegoss at 26 Old Mill Rd.
