Join motivational speaker and writer Connie when she facilitates a TED Talk screening, All It Takes Is 10 Mindful Minutes, by Andy Puddicombe, a former Buddhist monk, and the discussion that follows at 1 p.m. in the community room of the Main Library. TED is a nonpartisan nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks, which began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics—from science to business to global issues—in more than 110 languages. Lagan is a lecturer/coach in the areas of business development, career advancement and personal enrichment, as well as a meditation facilitator.
